"Bismillahir-Rahmanir-Rahim. All praise is due to Allah the Almighty, the Lord of the Worlds, who has brought our small effort this far. May blessings and peace be upon our beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), who taught us that acquiring knowledge is obligatory upon every Muslim man and woman.
A few years ago, when the dream of this madrasa first dawned on us, we did not have any huge capital or the shadow of any big organization. There was only a firm belief that we could not sit back and watch the light of the Quran go out in society, something had to be done. When we first started our journey with a few young children on this land of Thakurgaon in 2019, many were skeptical about how far this dream would go. We did not seek help from anyone, nor did we wait for anyone's donations. We started this journey with our own little savings, our own hard work, and our unwavering faith in Allah.
The initial days were not easy. Providing a classroom, finding a qualified teacher, spending every penny wisely — every step was a test. But we never deviated from the path, because we knew that every child we taught the first letter of the Quran would one day be the pride of a family, the beacon of light for a society.
Alhamdulillah, when I look back today, I see that from those few students, hundreds of tender children today make our premises resound with the melody of the Quran. At every level, from play class to fifth grade, we have created a balanced combination of modern subjects like Bengali, English, and mathematics along with the sacred knowledge of the Quran, Kalima, and Hadith Sharif. Our teachers are trained and responsible, our premises are secured by CCTV cameras, and we have set up a stipend system for every talented student from our own funds — because we do not want any talent to stop due to lack of money.
This institution is not just an institution to me — it is a trust, a worship, a lifelong pursuit. Every morning when the madrasa premises are filled with the sounds of children, I feel an indescribable peace in my heart — this is the dream, which was once a fantasy, has now become a reality.
But our journey does not stop here. We dream on a larger scale — more advanced facilities, a richer curriculum, and to raise a generation who will move forward with the times, keeping the Quran in their hearts, who will be successful in both religion and worldly affairs, who will one day become the true assets of this country and nation.
Finally, I ask only one thing from all the guardians, well-wishers and every person associated with this institution — your continuous prayers. Because prayers are our only capital, and that will help this small lamp spread its light even further, Insha Allah.
