"Hasan Campus" is a school/madrasa management app operated by Mumtazul Uloom Talimul Quran Noorani Madrasah, built for students, guardians, and teachers/staff. Your privacy matters to us — this policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.

Information We Collect

• Name, student/employee ID, class, roll number, date of birth (where applicable)
• Guardian name, phone number, email (collected during admission/employment by the institute)
• Attendance, exam results, fee/salary payment records, class routine
• Profile photo (uploaded by the institute)
• Login ID and password (passwords are stored hashed — no one can read them)
• In-app messages — messages sent by teachers to guardians, and complaints/feedback submitted by guardians
• Class notes and homework — teachers may optionally attach photos or files (e.g. PDF)
• Device token for push notifications (Firebase Cloud Messaging)

What we do not collect: This app does not track GPS/location — the prayer-time feature uses only the institute's pre-saved coordinates. The app does not read your contacts, SMS or photo gallery on its own (only a photo/file that a teacher deliberately selects to attach is uploaded). The app shows no ads and uses no advertising or analytics SDKs.

How Information Is Used

• To show attendance, results, routine, notices, and other academic information to students/guardians
• To send fee/salary updates and reminders
• To deliver important notifications/messages from the institute

We do not sell your information to any third party. We use only the service providers necessary to operate the app (e.g. Firebase for push notifications, SMS gateway), and they receive only the data required to perform their function.

Children's Privacy

This app contains information about students, many of whom are under 18. This data is collected with guardian consent at the time of admission and is used solely for education-related communication — never for advertising or third-party marketing.

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on the institute's own servers and is accessible only to authorized users (you, the institute's admin and the relevant teachers) via password-protected login. All data between the app and the server is transferred over an encrypted connection (HTTPS).

Data is kept for as long as the student or staff member remains with the institute; after that it is retained or deleted according to the institute's rules and legal requirements.

Your Rights

To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, email us at the address below or contact the madrasa office directly. After verifying your identity, the institute will complete the request within a reasonable time. You can also change your password at any time from inside the app.

Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated when needed. Significant changes will be announced through a notice in the app or on the website, and the "Last updated" date above will be changed.
